Course Overview: Beginner

With our recreational classes, we strive to provide our students with a non-competitive, progressive gymnastics environment while improving their level of fitness, coordination, strength, flexibility, social skills and self-confidence.

All recreational classes are one hour in length and offered to children ages 5 and up. Students are placed in our recreational classes based on age and skill level. Each student is evaluated continuously to monitor his or her progress.

The purpose of this program is to build strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence. These core essentials are the foundation to other sports or activities.

About the class

Recommended age range 8 - 14 years. Intermediate Class is for gymnasts who have had experience in gymnastics, or who have completed the required skills and graduated from the beginner program. This class takes the foundation that was learned in the beginner level and builds on those skills to help advance to our top recreation class.
