Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of our most frequently asked questions:
Registration
Do You Run Sessions?
We do not run sessions. Classes are held year round. You are enrolled in class until you notify us that you will be dropping from the program.
Do You Offer Boys Gymnastics?
We do not have a competitive boys team, but we do allow boys in our rec classes. They are a great fit in our Wanderers and Adventurers classes. Since we do not have full traditional boys equipment boys who are serious about learning those skills generally transfer to another gym that have this type of training.
How Do I Know What Class to Register My Child?
You will enroll in a class based on the age and ability of your child. Age ranges for your child are suggestions and not a strict rule. We recommend starting in the younger class and allowing your child to move up as opposed to starting at a level that feels too challenging. If your child has experience in gymnastics and has previously been enrolled in an intermediate/advanced class either at our gym or another gym, please contact us to set up a class placement evaluation. Once placed in a class, our gym will do ongoing formal and informal evaluations to assess growth and will recommend move-ups once they are ready.
What Should I do if the Class I Want to Enroll in is Full?
You can register for a spot on the waitlist for as many classes as you'd like. Once a spot becomes available, we will contact you to invite you to register for the spot.
How Many Classes Will My Student Attend per Month?
Our students attend class once per week, so this will generally be four classes per month.
Can My Student Enroll in Two Classes per Week?
Yes! We encourage enrolling in multiple classes. The more they practice, the faster they can progress. We offer a 10% tuition discount off the 2nd class if you are enrolled in 2 classes/week.
Why Do I Need to Provide a Credit Card When Creating an Account?
We require a valid credit/debit card to be kept on file while your child is enrolled in classes with us. Because you register before starting, we ask to have complete account information on file before you begin classes.
Do You Charge My Card When I Register for a Class?
Upon being accepted and confirming your child's registration into a class, we will charge your card on file your first month tuition amount (pro-rated if starting mid-month), plus the annual registration fee. After that you will need to have your card on an "e-payment schedule" of the 1st of the month, whereas we will charge your card on file for that month's tuition on the 1st of each month. Please read through our policies page for complete details on making payments.
Is There a Fee to Get on a Waitlist?
There are no fees to be put on a waitlist or to register an account with us.
Waitlist
Can I Get on Multiple Waitlists?
Of course! Since each waitlist is different, we recommend you request to be placed on all waitlists that work with your schedule.
Do You Offer a Discount if More Than One Child is Enrolled?
Yes - we offer a 10% discount when more than one child is enrolled and a $15 discount on the annual registration fee.
Fees
Why Do You Have an Annual Enrollment Fee?
Annual enrollment fees go towards liability insurance for your child.
How Much is Your Annual Enrollment Fee?
Our annual enrollment fee is $45 per student and will be charged on your child’s start date. Families that have 2+ children enrolled in gymnastics programs at the same time will pay a max enrollment fee of $60 annually.
When is Tuition Due?
Tuition will be charged to your card on file on the 1st of each month for that month of classes. Please ensure the card on file is up to date to avoid late fees. Tuition is considered late on the 7th of each month.
How do I Make a Payment?
In Person: Bring cash or a check to the gym. Please put your gymnast's first and last name in the memo section. If paying with cash please place it in an envelope and include your AND your gymnast's first and last name.
Credit/Debit Card: Log into your account to make a card payment.
Recurring Billing: All accounts are required to be on a 1st of the month e-payment schedule. However if you wanted to pay using a different card, or cash/check please be sure to drop payment off before the 1st of the month so your card is not debited.
Yes. If we are unable to charge your card on file on the 1st we will reach out to you directly to request updated card information and payment before the 10th. If you do not respond, a $10 late fee will be added to your account on the 10th. If payment or payment arrangements are not made by the 10th, your student will be dropped from the program and their spot offered to a student on our waitlist.
Proper Attire for Student:
Children are required to have bare feet. Socks, tights, or footed leggings are not allowed.
Jewelry, including watches, rings, necklaces, and large earrings, are not allowed. These can pose an injury risk to the gymnast.
A leotard is the acceptable attire for female students. Boys should come in shorts and a fitted t-shirt. Clothing with buttons or zippers is not allowed.
All girls must have hair securely tied back and out of their face.
We have cubbies for the storage of extra clothing, including socks, shoes, jackets, and anything else that would interfere with your child’s lesson.
