Course Overview: Advanced

This is our highest level of recreational gymnastics classes offered. This class adds onto each of the previous skills mastered in the beginner and intermediate levels to learn what is needed to be considered for competition.

Gymnasts will train and condition to gain the strength and body awareness necessary to train on a competitive team.

You will enjoy watching the level of skill your gymnast previously had, grow as they put to the test all of the previous drills they had been working on and create new and exciting skills.

About the class

Recommended age range 8-16 years old. This is our highest level of recreational gymnastics classes offered. To be eligible for this class, children must have attended at least one full year of gymnastics or be evaluated by a Florida School of Gymnastics coach.

Children will focus on running tumbling, kips on the bars and cartwheels, handstands and full turns on the balance beam, handstand over vault table onto the mat stack. This level your gymnast will have the skills to be successful on a competition team. This class adds onto each of the previous skills mastered in the beginner and intermediate levels to learn what is needed to be considered for competition.

You will enjoy watching the level of skill your gymnast previously had, grow as they put to the test all of the previous drills they had been working on and create new and exciting skills!
