Beginner Course Overview:

With our recreational classes, we strive to provide our students with a non-competitive, progressive gymnastics environment while improving their level of fitness, coordination, strength, flexibility, social skills and self-confidence.

All beginner recreational classes are one hour in length and offered to children ages 5 and up. Students are placed in our recreational classes based on age and skill level. Each student is evaluated continuously to monitor their progress.

The purpose of this program is to build strength, coordination, flexibility and confidence. These core essentials are the foundation to other sports or activities.

Girls/Boys Gymnastics Classes

Recommended age range 5 - 8yrs

Beginner Gymnastics is for those who have not had previous gymnastics experience, those who may need a little more foundational skill work and for those who are moving up from an Adventurers class. This class further builds the foundation of gymnastics with beginning tumbling such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheel and handstands, grip and swinging on bars, balance and jumps on beam, run and hurdle on vault. With concentrated skill work, your child will gain confidence, skills and a love for the sport of gymnastics.
